Company owned the Fairview claim on Gold Hill, near the productive Anaconda Gold Mining Company, Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, Colorado.

Tabor's fortunes had severely declined from the 1880s, when he was involved in the Little Pittsburg and Chrysolite. On advice from his business associates, David Moffat and Eben Smith, Tabor began investing in Cripple Creek gold mining.
