This a 6-page booklet dated to 1862, which details the decision by The Ways and Means Committee of the United States of America, to add a mint location in the Territory Denver Colorado. The Mint opened in 1863 and was used as an assay office. It was not until 1906 that this mint started producing coins for circulation.

Both covers of this booklet are on marbled paper and do not have any lettering.

Colorado did not become a state until 1876.

Condition (9/10) Great Overall. All pages are in excellent condition. Virtually no edge wear. The covers are in excellent condition with some very slight discoloration around the inside edges. The binging is very strong.
