#16. Brownsville Mining Camp on C.C. R.R., Col. C. Bierstadt, Niagara Falls, N.Y. Manufacturer of Stereoscopic Views. Charles Bierstadt was the famous painter, Albert Bierstadt, but enjoyed his own success in the production of stereoscopic views. This image was taken circa 1880. It is of the Brownsville Mining Camp, near the Colorado Central Railroad. Strong tones and contrast. Very good plus condition.
